A Lifetime at the Barre

I've been a student of classical ballet since the age of six. After a few decades of studying and performing, I became a teacher, choreographer, and coach. As an instructor I learned much about communication and the different ways people learn. While responsible for the success of others, I learned about motivation, human endurance, and the pursuit of excellence. While coaching and honing students' technique and performance, my leadership skills were developed and solidified. My biggest accomplishment in this field was the choreography and direction of a full length ballet with a large cast and a myriad of ages and skill levels. Years later the cast members still remember this work as a pivotal time in their development.
